Pixel Pump

The Pixel Pump is an open source vacuum pump for manual SMT assembly. It comes with a comfortable pen, a foot pedal, RGB LED buttons, and has a variety of features that make hand assembly a lot more fun. It’s the perfect companion for manual SMT soldering applications, from individual prototypes to small-production runs.

The Pixel Pump is only available in combination with one or more SMD Magazine Packs aswell as one or more SMD Magazine rails. This is intentional as I'd love to get feedback for the entire combination of products rather than just for the pump itself.

Note: First things first. So orders made here will start to ship once the CrowdSupply units are delivered. The estimated shipping date for orders made here will be May 2023.

Pre Production Unit 🚀

This is a fully tested and working unit that you'll love to work with!
Unfortunately there are a few unfinished things. The Pump will not be delivered in a polished and tailored packaging. Instead, I have good quality off the shelf boxes and cushioning material to safely ship the pump around the world. Also there is no official documentation yet. You, as a beta user will be invited to a private discord. Also I will offer you an optional Google Hangout to talk you through the basics. The software on the pump itself might not be 100% bulletproof. But I will work out any problems that you and your colleague testers will encounter.
